- Replacement foam pad only for FWF501
removable filter pad is dual layer – pyramid profiled foam bonded to a second flat layer which also seals the pad into the cartridge.
A further foam layer is permanently bonded to the filter cartridge to trap any dust particles which may bypass the filter pad in extremely dusty conditions. This provides three layers of protection without sacrificing air flow.
- The replacement foam pad is easy to clean or oil and can be purchased separately as a spare.

The FunnelWeb Filter was designed and is manufactured by Infiltration Pty Ltd, an Australian Company with more than 40 years of experience in off road motorcycle foam air filtration within the organisation. Utilising the latest technologies in open cell foam 3D profiling, the pyramid profile effectively doubles the filters outside surface area without increasing its overall size and, compared with conventional foam air filters, have been designed to;.
FunnelWeb pre-filters to suit KTM Adventure bikes are designed to replace existing snorkel covering grids enabling an easy, tool less pre filter inspection and/or change.
These filters prevent most dirt from entering the air box without causing air flow restriction.

Features

The Foam Profile:

The Seal:
Any air filter is only as good as its seal. Most of the genuine, Australian made, FunnelWeb Filter seals are injection moulded urethane or a die cut, urethane / foam combination.
- These seals will not shrink, stretch or tear and will maintain their shape, regardless of how they are treated ensuring any air entering your engine passes through the filter foam.

FWF's filter has been designed to address the intricacies of the 790's air box and it's unique filter fitting system
Special attention has been given to the filter seal, arguably the most important component.
The injection molded seal been specifically fabricated for this airbox’s filter securing system having dual sealing lips incorporating a ‘U’ channel for the application of a sealant (grease).
The removable filter pad is dual layer – pyramid profiled foam bonded to a second flat layer which also seals the pad into the cartridge.
A further foam layer is permanently bonded to the filter cartridge to trap any dust particles which may bypass the filter pad in extremely dusty conditions. This provides three layers of protection without sacrificing air flow.
The replacement foam pad is easy to clean or oil and can be purchased separately as a spare.
Whist the foam layer bonded to the cartridge will not always require cleaning, it is a little more difficult to service and will require aerosol filter oil for best results but is a far safer alternative than a removable piece of foam.

Motul Air Filter Oil has been specially formulated for the maintenance of the foam air filters of off-road motorcycles and quadbikes. Being blue-coloured facilitates its application over the filter.
Before each lubrication, disassemble the air filter and clean it thoroughly.
Pour Motul Air Filter Oil onto the air filter, massage the oil through the filter, then let dry for at least 10 minutes before refitting it.
- Efficiently retains dust, mud and sand for an extended engine life span.
- Limited load loss on air intake: improves engine power output.
- Anti-clogging formula.
- Prevents water penetrating the filter when crossing creeks.

Before each lubrication, disassemble the air filter and clean it thoroughly.
Spray Motul Air Filter Oil Spray at about 20 cm for a better diffusion on the air filter then let dry for at least 10 minutes before refitting it.
